The Dreamsters had a retreat at the end of October. One of the activities was to do a “Forest Bathing.”. We all went outside and found a “sit spot”, a place that felt comfortable for us to sit. We meditated and then opened our eyes and were open to what came to us visually, sound wise, etc..
After I meditated and opened my eyes, I noticed a squirrel coming down a tree with an acorn, small birds flitting from one tree to another, a branch up high with yellow and red leaves and a single ant who zig zapped near my feet, presumably going to a destination.
Then a bumble bee came close to my leg. At first I just watched it. Then I got nervous and shoo’d it away. My thought was that what I fear, I shoo away and am not receptive to.
A few days later, I was in a gift store buying cards. When I was checking out, I saw a small, metal bumble bee. Of course I bought it. There was a card that went with it. It reads:
According to laws of aerodynamics, the bumble bee cannot fly.
It’s body is too heavy for its wings and that’s the simple reason why.
But the bumble bee doesn’t know this fact, and so it flies anyway for all to see.
Remember this when you’re losing faith or hope. God’s proof that the impossible can be.
